About Us
MISSION
Congregation Emeth is dedicated to meeting the spiritual, intellectual, and social needs of all individuals and families in our community. We cultivate a love and understanding of our Jewish heritage. By embracing our Jewish values, we create an inclusive, nurturing environment where all find purpose and a sense of belonging.
VALUES
Congregation Emeth is a vibrant, inclusive Reform Jewish community where people feel a sense of belonging and purpose. We are devoted to life-long learning, worship, acts of loving kindness, and social justice. Our community celebrates joyous life-cycle events and offers comfort and support in times of challenge and sorrow.
We warmly welcome everyone who desires connection with the Jewish community, and those seeking to explore Judaism. We embrace and respect our interfaith families, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC members. Together, we nurture enduring friendships and strengthen our connections within our families, congregation and community.
Join us as we grow together, building a stronger, more vibrant Jewish presence in the South Valley and beyond.
Our Code of Ethics reflects our commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and accountability, guiding our actions and decisions to uphold the values of our community.
Religious Services
Our religious services are conducted in a joyous environment with music and prayers in both Hebrew and English. Members are invited to participate in services however they’re comfortable. Families are welcome to sit and pray together at all services.
Educational Programs
Our joyful educational programs cultivate a lifelong love of Torah and a deep understanding of Jewish history, traditions, values, and ethics. They nurture our Jewish identity and spiritual development.
Commitment to Social Action & Social Justice
We put our values into action by advocating for justice and supporting those in need. We are committed to being catalysts for positive change within our congregation and the broader community through Tzedakah (Charity), Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), and Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving kindness).
