Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation at Congregation Emeth is an integral part of congregational life.

• Students preparing for Bar and Bat Mitzvah truly learn to become leaders of a Shabbat service. However, the intention of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program is to train young people to be knowledgeable Jews.
• Families learn and grow together with their children in a wondrous journey through the Torah, prayer service, and community involvement.
• An extremely high percentage of students continue their religious school education after Bar/Bat Mitzvah, through High School graduation. They help lead services on Shabbat, and serve as madrichim (teaching assistants) at Religious and Hebrew school.
